Description
- Prevent Exposure - Sterile, tamper-evident seals protect the point of entry of IV bags that contain hazardous drugs and protect staff from exposure.
- Compatibility - Caps fit Baxter® Viaflex®, Viaflow®, Intravia®, Aviva and All-In-One EVA; B. Braun Excel® and Pinnacle®; and ICU Medical Port Bags – long port flexible containers.
- ISMP Recommended - Use of printed Paralyzing Agent Bag Port Seal (20287 only) follows ISMP Best Practices that recommend placing auxiliary labels on all final medication containers including syringes and IV bags to clearly communicate respiratory paralysis will occur and ventilation is required.
- Sterile Barrier - Foil seals maintain a sterile barrier when properly applied.
- Single Use - Removal leaves a printed “OPENED” warning and cannot be reapplied.
- Refrigerator Safe - Seals maintain adhesion when refrigerated or frozen in cold drug storage conditions.
- USP <797> Friendly - Seals feature a lint-free plastic liner and are packaged in a plastic clamshell dispensing container that will not shed particulate.
